Given
your present beliefs, it logically follows that God created our universe.
You
believe that our physical universe had a beginning to its existence. You also
believe that whatever begins to exist (spontaneous actions aside) has a cause.
It follows that our physical universe, not itself an action of any kind, had a cause. (Note, I defined
‘spontaneous action’ as a certain
action of a thing: thus, the thing that acts and the action of a thing are distinct. I
defined ‘physical universe’ as the sum of all physical things. As such, the
physical universe may contain things that
act (it may even contain some actions, too), but it is not itself the action of anything). You also
believe that a causer of our universe would be God. It follows that God
caused/created our physical universe.
